Maps and Directions
Most campus visit activities take place on the North Campus: Fall Open House, Fall Discovery Day, Spring Open House, and Visit UB. But to experience all of UB, you may want to visit the South Campus as well.

Find your way around UB easily by downloading these high-resolution, detailed Adobe Acrobat PDF maps of North Campus and South Campus. The maps will help you find parking and handicap access points, and identify buildings.

Directions to North Campus:
From the West (Chicago, Cleveland, Erie)
Take I-90 East until you reach I-290 (past the Buffalo airport exit). Take I-290 West (sign is for Niagara Falls) and proceed until Exit 5B (Millersport Highway, Rte 263). Get off exit and merge into traffic. Go through first light (Marriott is on your left), but move into right lane. Enter campus at the Flint Road exit.
From the East (Rochester, Albany, New York City)
Take I-90 West until you reach I-290 (just past tolls, follow State University signs). Take I-290 West (sign is for Niagara Falls) and proceed until Exit 5B (Millersport Highway, Rte 263). Get off exit and merge into traffic. Go through first light (Marriott is on your left), but move into right lane. Enter campus at the Flint Road exit.
From the South (Pittsburgh)
Take I-79 North until you get to Erie, PA. Take I-90 East until you reach I-290 (past the Buffalo airport exit). Take I-290 West (sign is for Niagara Falls) and proceed until Exit 5B (Millersport Highway, Rte 263). Get off exit and merge into traffic. Go through first light (Marriott is on your left), but move into right lane. Enter campus at the Flint Road exit.
From the North (Toronto, Ontario Canada)
Take Queen Elizabeth Way to the Queenston/Lewiston Bridge. Once across bridge get on I-190 South. Follow I-190 South until you reach I-290 East and proceed until Exit 5B (Millersport Highway, Rte 263). Get off exit and merge into traffic. Go through first light (Marriott is on your left), but move into right lane. Enter campus at the Flint Road exit.
From the Peace Bridge, take I-190 North to I-290 East and follow same directions.
Directions to South Campus:
From the West (Cleveland, Erie, Chicago)
Take I-90 northeast towards Erie, PA. Follow I-90 through Pennsylvania. Continue on I-90 northeast in New York (portions are a toll road) to I-290 West. Proceed west on I-290 to Exit 7A, Main Street West (Route 5). Travel west about 3 miles on Main Street to Bailey Avenue (Route 62). Turn left on Bailey, then right on Michael Road into UB.
From the East (Rochester, Albany, New York City)
Take I-490 southwest to I-90 West. Take I-90 (portions are toll road) to I-290 West. Go west on I-290 to Exit 7A, Main Street West (Route 5). Proceed about 3 miles to Bailey Ave. (Route 62). Turn left on to Bailey and right on to Michael Road, into UB.
From the South (Pittsburgh)
Take I-579 northwest to I-279. Go northwest on I-279 to I-79 North. Continue on I-79 North to I-90. Go northeast on I-90 to New York and continue on I-90 (portions are toll road) to I-290. Go west on I-290 to Exit 7A, Main Street West (Route 5). Proceed about 3 miles to Bailey Ave. (Route 62). Turn left on to Bailey and right on to Michael Road, into UB.
From the North (Canada)
Take Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) southeast out of Toronto toward Hamilton. Continue on the QEW past St. Catharines. Follow Highway 405 to the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge and continue east over the bridge (toll) into New York state. Once in New York, you are on I-190. Stay on I-190, through Grand Island, until you get to I-290. Take I-290 exit east. Stay on I-290 and take Exit 5A (Millersport Highway) South (Route 263). Turn right on to Michael Road, into UB.
