Information Technology and Management BS
Information technology continues to be an important and growing part of business strategy, and individuals with a combination of business and technical knowledge will play a central role in launching and managing contemporary business systems. This combination of business knowledge and of science in Information Technology and Management (BS in IT&M) is an innovative curriculum that develops proficiency in both of these essential areas. The strong management component of the curriculum is a key differentiator of the BS in IT&M degree. The IT&M degree draws on the Association for Computing Machinery’s description of the BS in Information Technology and extends that definition to include a strong managerial component. As a graduate of the BS in IT&M degree, you will be able to analyze technical business problems and identify the information technology requirements appropriate for the business arena and end users. You will also be able to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, and function effectively on teams to accomplish business goals making you highly marketable.
