Nonprofit Leadership Minor
*Not a baccalaureate degree program
The nonprofit sector is a large and rapidly growing part of the U.S. economy and labor force. The minor in Nonprofit Leadership provides students with an understanding of how nonprofit organizations differ from corporations and government entities in their structure and function, as well as exposure to a range of topics and practical skills (e.g., fundraising, grantwriting, program evaluation) related to working in and leading nonprofit organizations. The minor is ideal for students who aspire to a career in the nonprofit space; who are interested in social or public service and care about advancing a social cause; or who wish to pursue graduate school in the social sciences or in professional schools.
