Step 3: Accept Your Offer of Admission

If accepted to UB, you will receive an offer of admission along with a packet of important forms and information. To accept your offer of admission, you must submit your enrollment/tuition deposit.

Secure your seat at UB.

In order to reserve your place in the transfer class, submit your $150 enrollment/tuition deposit online. You have until Dec. 1 if enrolling for the spring semester and until the extended deadline of May 15 if enrolling for the fall semester. After these dates, admission is on a space-available basis. If you receive your offer of admission after those dates, you must signify your intention to enroll within 10 days of your acceptance.

Reserve a room on campus.

If you plan to live on campus, you must pay your deposit and complete the online Residence Hall Application. Housing assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of your enrollment/deposit, housing deposit and residence hall application. Assignments will be made once all components have been completed using the date of the last-received item. Deposits must be received by May 10 if enrolling for the fall semester and Dec. 1 if enrolling for the spring semester.

Transfer students who finished high school two or more years ago are eligible for apartment consideration. Contact Campus Living’s Housing Operations Office at 716-645-2171 or ub-reshalls@buffalo.edu to inquire if space is available.

Special note for EOP students

EOP students do not have to pay enrollment/tuition or housing deposits. However, you must fill out the paper versions of the enrollment and housing forms (if you plan to live on campus) that were sent with your acceptance letter. Visit the special instructions for EOP students page on the Accepted Students website for more information.
